Madison at the Beach

We had 78 degree weather February 8th so we took Madison to the beach.

It is Official!

We went to the OBGYN on Friday and made it offical...we are pregnant. I certainly did not need a Doctor to reinforce this bit of news but, we did need her to tell us that it is just one baby. So here is the first image of Baby Small.

Colt is Home!

Well, Madison's new puppy Colt has made it home to live with us. He is so wonderful and an absolute joy to have. He and Madison bonded instantly. He thought she was so great to play with and she wakes up in the morning and Colt is the first thing out of her mouth. As you can see he is very playful and can fall asleep just about anywhere. David picked him up just North of Winston-Salem, SC on Thursday. On Friday, he had his first visit to his new vet. He has a hyrnia and needed some meds but he is doing fantastic. By the way...the first Indianapolis Colts game that he watched, they won!

Madison's New Puppy "Colt"

So...Madison is an animal whisperer! Just kidding. She loves animals and takes such good care of the new kittens who tend to wander over to Nana and Papa's house. She picks them up and pets them so soft, she feeds them and gives them balls and stick and bugs to play with. We realized over the past few months just how much she loves animals and Cassius is just too big for her to play with so...we made the decision to get her a puppy. We decided on a Pug because they are stout and hearty. We wanted an indoor dog for her but not one that would not be able to hold its own. So, without further adew...we are announcing the newest member of The Small Family, Colt, the two week old Pug puppy. He will come to live with us around Thanksgiving. In the picture of all four pups, he is on the far right. Oh, and David named him after our favorite football team, the Colts.
